Pat's Space

I went on a vactiona for 10 days last month. The main thing was a Photo class at the Carlsbad Caverns with one hour each day held in a cvlass room. The rest of the time was under ground. Most of it had some lighting but the second half of the second day was in a cave with no lights. The picutres that I posted so far are from that time. We wore hard hats with lights and that was it. Sure was exciting.

I will pst more pictures later and explain about them.

I also went to white sands national park. also got some good pic's there will post later

Carlsbad has a yearly event called artsplash (this is the second time that I went) and I really like the art it is different.

There are some really talented artist there. There is a large area for children to draw in squares. Also booths for face painting and local artists  to sell painting and statues etc. the weather was great clear skies and it is just off the beach so there was a nice breeze..

Last Sunday when down to the San Diego harbor to attend the Tall ships festival. As I have never been on any before it was very interesting. Hope that you enjoy the pic's.

Saturday 7-26 I went to the San Diego Comic Convention-it is a 4 day event with way to much to take in. the majority of the pictures I took were of people attending that are in costume. Hope that you enjoy

I went to a party a friend had down at the beach (Oceanside) I took pictures of just people and surfing-was wanting to take pic's of the fireworks but the fog or overcast came back in.

So I went to San Marcos (about 4-5 miles inland) to take pic's of the fireworks.
